Cryomagnetics has successfully installed another large bore, 9.4 Tesla, actively-shielded superconducting magnet system for Ion Cyclotron Resonance (ICR) research. This system was delivered to the Virginia Commonwealth University in December, 2001.

Cryomagnetics' stable and reliable 9.4 Tesla superconducting magnet system is the highest magnetic field commercially available for ICR research. When used with the proper mass spectrometry equipment, Cryomagnetics' 9.4 Tesla system can aid researchers by providing better resolving power.

Other exciting development projects are underway at Cryomagnetics to improve superconducting magnet systems for ICR. These programs will make possible higher resolution data and simplified magnet operation. Please visit our website often for updates.
