A line of superconducting magnet dewars is available that provide room temperature access to the high field region of magnets. These dewars offer either vertical or horizontal bores, depending upon the requirements of your application. In addition, these dewars are available in either helium vapor-shielded, liquid nitrogen shielded, closed-cycle refrigerated models, and with a range of helium boil-off characteristics. Also available are completely cryogen-free systems based on 4.2K GM or pulse-tube cryorefrigerators.
It is important to note Cryomagnetics is fully equipped to engineer and manufacture room temperature bore dewars entirely in house. We have found overall quality increases when all phases of system engineering and manufacturing are completed under one roof. Engineers work closely with production personnel to insure stringent specifications are met. Every system is fully tested before shipment and end-users are welcome to attend these tests at Cryomagnetics. Field installation is available where a Cryomagnetics' technician installs the system at the customer's site and repeats all factory tests.
