Cryomagnetics' new cryogenic temperature monitor Model TM-600 and new gaussmeter Model GM-700 are shipping.
The Model TM-600 is an economical temperature monitor suited for monitoring most resistive-type temperature sensors. Applications include monitoring temperature during superconducting magnet cooldown, lambda-point operation, cold-head temperatures of closed-cycle cryocoolers, etc.
A built-in controller function provides an output signal suitable for operating low-voltage relays. Line-voltage controller output is available as an option. RS-232 communication is standard with IEEE-488.2 available as an option.
The Model GM-700 gaussmeter provides high resolution readout of most manufacturer's hall effect sensors.
Resolution when used with Cryomagnetics' Model HSU-1 hall effect sensor is 100mG (-10kG to +10kG). Resolution outside of the above range is 1 gauss.
The GM-700 features a "relative field" function. This allows the user to obtain a high resolution difference reading from a set magnetic field.
